A Long Drive Down The East Coast of Tasmania

A Long Drive Down The East Coast of Tasmania

This is one of those moments where I'm driving and see something spectacular and actually pull over and stop to photograph it. I pass these moments far too often! When I think about stopping, usually its too late. My advice is not to think, just stop and shoot.

The East Coast of Tasmania has some fantastic scenery to see. We were taking the long route back to Hobart along these twisting highways when we saw this landscape around the corner. Setting up my tripod I shot this with my 18-200mm Nikkor lens and Polarized filter. I don't normally use any filters except a UV so this one was borrowed from a friend.

Camera settings for this shot can be found on flickr here.
