Abandoned Shack by the river

About a few weeks ago my wife and I took a trip up to Bright, a small town near all the major ski fields in Victoria. Bright is particularly famous for it spectacular Autumn display where all the trees turn beautiful golden yellow.

During a nature walk by the river, we encountered this little abandoned shack. I have no idea what its function was, it seemed quite random to find it there. I always bring my tripod with me on these walks and used it for composing this set of bracketed exposures. The river bank was fairly steep so I lowered the tripod a little closer to the level of the old shack.

Camera settings for this shot can be found on flickr here.
